Ellie Gilbert

Over her career as a specialist employment lawyer, Ellie has helped countless employees, employers and founders/business owners navigate complex employment law issues. Ellie has acted for clients across many sectors, including technology, fintech, financial services, professional services, media, and retail. Ellie is known for her pragmatism and empathy when faced with often difficult and highly emotive matters.

Prior to joining Stephenson Law, Ellie worked for 10 years at Winckworth Sherwood, within its highly ranked and top-rated employment department. As the trusted advisor of both employees and employers, Ellie’s experience allows her to offer a balanced perspective and a broad understanding of the challenges, opportunities and potential pitfalls that come with looking after any business’s most important asset: its people. This experience also enables her to provide valuable insight when acting for employees, founders and senior executives.  

Ellie is our Head of Employment at Stephenson Law, guiding our clients in creating robust employment and HR strategies, and equipping them with the tools needed to thrive, and ensuring all her clients’ interests are protected.
